Putin Going Nuclear? Russia Ups Nuclear Rhetoric in Ukraine
Sunday Oct 30, 2022
Sunday Oct 30, 2022
Recently, this month United States President Joe Biden warned that the world could face nuclear Armageddon if his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, were to use a tactical nuclear weapon in Ukraine. Putin, on the other hand, has made implicit threats of using nuclear weapons to protect his newly “annexed” territories as Ukrainian counter-offensives mount up their pressure. All this tension has led to the world facing possibly the greater threat of nuclear weapon usage since the Cuban Missile Crisis. Which leads us to the question of how we got here and what may happen next?
