Ten Years Later: The Syrian Refugee Crisis
Sunday Mar 28, 2021
Sunday Mar 28, 2021
As the world marks the tenth year of the Syrian Civil War, refugees displaced by the conflict see no relief in sight as fighting continues. The decade-long war has destroyed most of Syria's infrastructure, while continued threats of terrorism, food insecurity, and government repression make it impossible for many to return.
Today, join the Global Current as Analysts Hamzah Khan and Liam Brucker-Casey as we recap the conflict, analyze the current situation, and explore implications for the future of the crisis. Before our discussion, News Briefer Kasia Kostraba updates us on pressing news around the world.
