Peace or Abandonment? Pope Francis wants Ukraine to wave a "White Flag"

In a recent interview with Pope Francis, he was asked by a Swiss reporter his position on the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine, particularly regarding the debate over whether or not Ukraine should surrender to Russia. He emphasized the need for negotiations and referred to the courage of waving the white flag, which has brought many international reactions and raised questions regarding the role of the Vatican in international conflicts.
