On February 24th, Russia began its invasion of Ukraine, which has escalated into a war that has killed at least 24,000 and displaced over 10 million people. The ongoing war has led over four million refugees to flee to neighboring countries in Europe. Some draw connections and contrasts to other European refugee crises such as the 2015 refugee crisis.
Join The Global Current today as we analyze the current refugee crisis and how it compares to previous refugee crises in Europe with Analysts Annie Hebel and Abby Knauss. Afterward, News Briefer Thomas Johnson recaps current and pressing stories from around the world.
