Russia launched its invasion of Ukraine nearly a month ago. Since then, Western nations have imposed severe economic sanctions, while Ukrainian forces on the ground have put up stiff resistance. Now, NATO is sending an abundance of military assistance while Russian President Vladimir Putin refuses to back down.

Dr. Joseph Huddleston is an Assistant Professor of Diplomacy and International Relations at Seton Hall University who specializes in security and separatist movements. Dr. Nathaniel Knight is the Chair of the Department of History at Seton Hall who specializes in Russian and Eastern European history.
