For the first time in 4 years, North Korean president, Kim Jong Un has traveled outside the country for a summit between Russia and North Korea, hosted by Vladimir Putin to discuss trade and connections within the region and how that affects their respective countries. This has caught the attention of the West as it could lead to further developments in relations between the two nations, which could greatly impact the current war in Ukraine. That brings us to the questions of how we got here, and where we may be heading next.
