Friday Oct 15, 2021
Tunisia, regarded by most experts to be the only successful democratic government to emerge from the Arab Spring, is in the midst of its worst post-revolution political crisis. The country's president, after dissolving Parliament and suspending the constitution, has appointed a new government featuring Tunisia's first female prime minister and a record number of women in government.
Join the Global Current today as we dissect the crisis and the new government with Analysts Hamzah Khan and David Babigian. Afterward, News Briefer Kasia Kostraba recaps some of the most pressing stories from around the world this week.
